I’ve just uploaded a few photos in lieu of a proper update because being on holiday is very hard work and we’re too tired to think up much to write ;)
We’re in Cairns at the moment having made our way up the east coast by train from Sydney, stopping at Bondi, the Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Coffs Harbour (where we sadly didn’t have time to see the Big Banana), Brisbane, Hervey Bay/Fraser Island and Airlie Beach/The Whitsundays. On Sunday we fly to Darwin and from there we plan to spend a couple of days in Kakadu National Park before catching the Ghan down to Adelaide with a week in Alice Springs/Uluru.
We also now have tickets to the Grand Prix in Melbourne so we’ll definitely be there in mid-March!

Sorry we’ve only just got around to making contact. Conglatulations to you both on your engagement, thought choice of setting was very romantic.
We have just viewed the blogg site – very impressive! nice seeing some of your photos so far, you appear to be making the most of your trip.
Anne has been down the last few days, helping Giles and Jo with their new house. she has been working very hard, getting them organised!
